When in the agenda are the elections taking place?

do you have to be a paid member to attend??? if not laura and i would love to come and meet some of the people that have been so very helpfull in getting our tank up and running..... hope to see you, Laura and Rich

You don't have to be a paid member to attend the meeting. But you can't vote, use the library books and get the water samples for $5 IIRC. Def stop by, the more the better...

>When in the agenda are the elections taking place?<

Heh...good question! Good thing I left a large gap in the schedule.

Revised agenda:

11:30 PM - 12 noon - Novice Reefkeepers question and answer session with panel of experienced reefkeepers -

12 noon - 12:15 PM - Announcements - raffle items descriptions - introductions of new members, etc.

12:15 PM -12:45 PM - Speeches from candidates for office that wish to speak.

12:45 PM - 1:10 PM - Voting - distribution of ballots and vote counting

1:10 PM - 1:15 PM - Announcements of election results

1:15 - 2:15 PM - Guest Speaker - Randy Holmes-Farley, Reef Chemistry Expert - Question and answer session

2:15 - 3 PM - Pizza - general member to member reef chat, frag swapping meyhem and madness, cleanup

~2:30 PM - Raffle drawing

A reminder about this schedule, if candidates decide not to speak, and there is extra time, we will NOT delay the election. If you want to vote, make sure you are at the meeting no later than 12:30 PM.

I have been a member for 2 years and never been to a meeting and it looks like I might be able to go to this one since the wife is heading out of town .... I'm excited!!!

Looks like tank water testing should be up and running.

Also, as a preview, we should have a pretty good raffle as we have plenty of new 'goodies' donated by many sponsors and industry friends of the BRS (T-5 bulbs, coral dips, putty epoxy, glass cleaning magnets, gift certs, etc.).

WHOOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOO... Kim and I can't wait... Hopefully I'm not still sick but even if I am oh well... :D I'll wear a mask so no one else gets sick lol

Nope.
