Display fuge plumbed into main system

So I’m contemplating plumbing my Red Sea reefer nano that has been in storage into my main display as a display fuge with cool macro algae and a planted tank light.

Any thoughts or experience would be greatly appreciated!

Thoughts I’m considering:

Do I need a separate return pump, or can I just plumb in a T or Y?

Can I plum the overflow and emergency into the existing lines?

Already doing it. Only been a few days and I just use a second pump in the sump and drilled and overflow into the tank. If figured that was just easier especially since I just upgraded my sump. I guess you could T off existing lines and throw valves to adjust flow but still feel that doing all new plumbing would be easier.

I have sand I just picked up and already have some macro but want to add more. Would love to throw in some mangroves in the AIO area of the tank eventually as well.

Nice, that’s awesome! Yeah I’d like to get the mangroves I have in the tank out to have a better fitting lid. Love the set up though! Did you add pics to your build thread? Maybe I should follow along a bit more closely. Lol
