display tank 10 gallon and sump 100 gallon

Tell me if this is wrong,. I am going to setup a 10 gallon display tank in my living room and the sump is going to be down the finish basement--- this sump system (120gallon) is --- the clean water for my current 120 gallon--- My house is rather small and i don't have space to put in more 120 gallon tank.

I mean does the 10 gallon display tank will dirty my sump 120 gallon system? I am thinking of just doing frag and 1 clown fish.

I don't think the bioload you could pack into a the 10g would have (any) impacts on a connected 120 system/sump. Any impacts in the 10 will come from the 120.
