DIY Led help?

So I have a six foot light with 4 light pendents on it. I just plug it in and one light pendent is not working . It was working fine before I moved . I have know idea how to trouble shoot the problem. I didn't build it . I got it off a fellow member. So my question is there anyone close to dracut that might be able to lend me a hand on trouble shooting this problem so I can get it ready for my new build? Lmk ty

do you have a pic of the fixture i may be able to tell you how to go about troubleshooting it

Wow it worked.. didn't think I knew how to get the photos to show up !! Lol

that is one custom light. its hard to tell from the pictures. have to bench test that light with a multimeter and follow the wires back to where it originates from. not something i could walk you threw on here. looks like there are multiple transformers. you have to check for voltage every where. is it one single light that is out or a whole set?

So guess my next question is what's your availability. I am a ways away from putting the light up so it's no rush.I just would like to know what if anything I would need to buy to upkeep the light before use. And it sounds like you know what your doing . I just know I would break something. I am a carpenter not a electrician! Lol

this weekend is no good for me i have a one year old and I have a few appointments this weekend. I'm usually free friday nights saturday and sunday. so when ever you are ready we could meet up and i will bring my meters.

Sounds great but if we meet some where I will have to buy a power converter so we can plug the light in where we meet. Unless I come to you or you come to me . But we will figure it out ty so much !

you have four fixtures and four meanwell drivers, try and switch the faulty fixture to a different driver and if that makes it work its the driver that's problematic . if it does not fire the faulty fixture than its a fixture problem.

Did you get a LED tester with your DIY kit? You should test each individual LED. If one is blown, it opens the circuit and none will work. So, you would need to replace the blown LED.

Ty for all the input . But you guys sound like Charlie Browns teacher to me. I have no clue what any of you guys are saying. I might know a little if I built this light but I didn't. But with this infor I will ask a buddy of mine if he could help me out . Keep you guys posted. But I would really like someone who knows this stuff completely to do a once over on the light so I can have it back to 100% before putting above the tank. NICKT said he would meet up with me but I would need to buy a power converter to be able to plug it in. So if there is anyone closer to dracut then NICKT who is in Amesbury . Lmk if you could stop by and lend me some knowledge!! Lol ty everyone

No need to buy a converter Dracuts not too far of a hike just need to set up a time and I will come by and check it out.

If you can meet me in Woburn, I can fix it for you. I have the tester and the tools. I'll be available Sunday afternoon. Let me know.
