DIY Multichip LED Pendant (Ecoxotic Cannon Look-a-like)

Thought I would just throw up some info/pics of a LED build I did last year. I ordered the LED and Driver combo and a separate heatsink and 90 degree optic off ebay. The LED was listed as 20k color. I bought multiple PVC fittings from Lowes to try to mimic the look of the ecoxotic cannon pendants because I love their styling. After some trial and error and a little dremel modification I ended up with a pretty decent looking fixture! I haven't had a chance to run this thing over a tank yet since I had just moved, then I sold all 20 of my fish tanks, and now I just bought a new tank that I am in the process of setting up. So no FTS here sorry, but I do have a video of the light running if thats any consolation. So without further ado..... here are the pics and video.

I think three would work since there was glass not a center brace but I would say 3-5 for best coverage and power. Although depending on where you mounted it you could use less of a focused optic or really no optic at all since its a pretty shallow tank. (At least compared to my 31" deep 350g tank now). I never set this tank up with the LED because I sold the tank and stand so I cant tell you for sure.
