I need to catch a coral beauty. It hates the net. If I bring the net near the tank he hides in the rock work. I don't want to destroy my reef. Any help would be awesome.

Does anyone have a small fish trap

If u cant get hold of one, as a substitute try using a tall glass. Lay it on its side slightly propped up. Squirt food only in the glass for the next couple of days. All your fish will go in to eat, including the beauty. When he does cover the entrance with the net. U may even leave the net in the tank so he can get used to it.

I have one...I am in Mansfield. I would love to catch my Coral beauty as well..I tried a net but not a trap. You are welcome to borrow it.

Awesome thanks for all the help. I have to call some of my lfs to see if I can trade him for something eles. I got him from one of my buddies that was breaking down a tank.

i've used fly fishing hooks. get em eating shrimp pieces then hook em. note* depending on how many fish you have you may not catch him first.
