I have been having trouble setting and maintaining a constant low drip rate on my calcium reactor. This issue has been giving me a bit of trouble for some time. Because I travel often for work it is important for me to have more stability on this piece of equipment. Quite a few times now I have returned home to find my alk quite a ways off from the 7.5-8 dkh I like to run my tank at. I was thinking of adding a brs dosing pump. My system is small aprox 60 gal and I'm using a vertex rx4 reactor so I don't need very much effluent, currently I'm measuring about 5ml/min. I was thinking the larger pump rated for 50ml/min would be the one I need, turning it on for one minute per hour. Has anyone had similar issues and how did you solve them?
