Here is the photo contest for February 2025:
Subject: Invertebrates
Date of last submission is 2/28/25

Rules are as follows:

• Submitted photo has to be of your own personal currently running system regardless of subject
• Failure to comply with any of the above will disqualify the entry

Brittle starfish, tentacles fully extend to more than a foot. Very cool to watch it use the tentacles to move food to its mouth like a conveyer belt.

Tricolor tube anemone, it got like 6 inch long tentacles and grab food off the water column to feed the inner tentacle. They are also not photosynthetic so I put up it at up stream where it can grab a few mysis when I feed the fish, and anywhere 6 inch downstream is a dead zone.

Looks like a tiger pistol shrimp to me.
