Well, I've never done "feeder" shrimp, just brine shrimp.
After I hatched them, I rinsed them off and released them into my main display. I had all circulation shut off and my fish just chased them down and ate as many as they could.
I gave them about 45 min, then started up all my pumps again. Seems to have worked ok.
