Actually, I just got it about a week ago.
Those are some sweet Acros. What kind of light do you have them under?

I kind of thought it might be young, keep an eye on it I tried one just like that and had little sucess with it, you might try placing it so the sides are not rubbing on the rock to avoid an infection, also that is a lower light coral, lighting is 6 250w hqi's 3 10k's and 3 20k's.

Man, these corals are simply amazing. I want to know more about this tank! How long has it been running, and are you doing anything unique compared to the rest of us? That Candycane colony is super impressive!

You think I should move him to the sand bed? (30" below the 175 MH's as opposed to 20" now)
That's a lot of light. How big is your tank?

I would start low and move it up as response gets better, iTS A 210

Wow, tank looks awesome!
With all that light, how do you keep the overflows free of coraline?
I hate to beg, but if you ever decide to frag any of those acros... :)

No the back and sides of the tank are coated , I only clean the viewing glass.

If you EVER want to part with a frag, please let me know! Those are gorgeous! Would look great sitting under 3x400w MH!

They look great, Jim. You have the talent, sir.

Thanks guys for the nice comments. Here is a shot of a browned coral that sat dormat for almost a year and is finally going to pop.

Jim, It's good to see you yesterday. As always, your corals looks incredible.
Do you feed your SPS and do you put any supplement regularly to get those color besides getting it from the light?

Hey Tia good to see you also, I just feed mysis and cyclopeez each day along with nori and keep my water quality good and consistant. IMO consistancy is definately the key.
