Finally got my Red Sea Reefer 450!

well get all the issues taken care of before you get it wet with salt and be patient . I know that tank will be awesome !!!

Got a couple questions, as I saw the Reefer 90g in person and fell in love.

Is the stand solid oak wood or compressed wood? And what is the significance and of whit egg crate on the floor of the tank?

I really want one and love it. I agree these are the nicest looking setups ive seen in person. The sump is a bit plain, but is a simple tested and true design.

Sorry for the delay, I dont go one here much. I am not sure what it is made of, but its some type of resin? Its def not wood, but would not call it pressed wood. It is really hard but only time will tell. The sump is plain, but extremely well thought out and completely silent, and does the job. If you are ever up this way (Malden) and like to see it let me know. I would highly recommend this tank, I couldn't be happier with it.

I just saw the one at Greg's. It actually is wood. Plywood with a marine epoxy coating to be exact. Nice stuff! Turns out I can't fit the 90g (they're 90 is long, not tall) but the 75g would be a perfect fit and still looks fantastic.

Beautiful derek I was interested in the same tank. How much did the tank, stand a sump run you if you don’t mind me asking because over here (Middle East) they are quite pricey
