Finally have some answers!!!

I am still having problems with this freaken green algea that grows like cyano ,comes up like a carpet and holds oxygen bubbles in it !! still have not got a handle on that.( suggestions welcome LOL )

I've had what is described as the same and could not get rid of it. 6 - 8 mos. later, at the end of my rope, I tried a Boyd Enterprise product called Chemi-Clean. Used exactly as directed and it worked great. It's been a few mos. since treatment and everything still looks great.

I learnt today that I am still not ready to process with her and I am kinda sick to my stomach that I feel that way..
Long story short. I seen her walking in the city today and she was actually crossing a street to a street I had to drive down.. I actually turned my blinker off and continued straight to take the next street over so I would not have to see her and chance her calling me over I guess I am still more upset/hurt than I thought I was..... On a good note 2 of my old girls showed up out of the blue today to get some advice and have a shoulder to lean on..........So I know I will get over this and at some point be able to talk with her...........

Wow, well at least now you know. I've actually heard this tale before. A few years before the BRS even existed I knew of a local guy who's wife (at the time) was really mad in the course of a separation (soon to be divorce) and decided to punish him by punishing his tank with a bottle of bleach. Hard to believe someone could be so cruel (and we are talking ADULT here) to innocent marine critters, but there you have it.

In the FWIW category, if we'd had any idea about bleach we could have tested for free chlorine I think (I have a HACH kit). A large dose of sodium thiosulfate (neutralizes bleach in water), followed by some water changes might have worked wonders for whatever had survived the initial exposure.

about a month ago this happened to a store in CT.
Disgruntled customer 3" chlorine tabs in the 500 show tank that house a 20 year collection of the owners personal LEs and turpentine to the for sale system.
