To give a little history - our tank is just one month shy of 1 year old. We've had great luck with corals soft and a bit on the hard side - growing 1 red mushroom into 30 and a Duncan Coral from 4 heads to 12 and our Candy Cane from 3 to 18 or more. We also have a nice carpet of green star algae.
Now on the fish front...
We had royal gramma at start but added a clown = STRESS and fish check out on month 4. Then we waited a bit and got a hector goby, neon goby, and cleaner shrimp - followed by a very tiny small set of clowns - some would say - too many fish - but they made it for 2 months - then the clowns ate it from the neon goby riding on them all the time and the hector goby - MIA.
So - it's the Fall - and we're going to get a few new corals - not sure what - but we'd like maybe 1 or two more fish. The neon goby (who thinks he owns the world) remains along with our cleaner shrimp who seems to shed every 3 weeks.
Water params and stuff are great - we have good purple coraline in the tank and do weekly water changes on Friday afternoon.
Any thoughts for this nice biocube? Who needs to come visit? Firefish? Cardinals? Damsels? Give me some ideas.
