Frag tank lighting

So after I upgrade my 40 acrylic (36"x16") to my 90 I will be cuttin it down to about 5" tall to keep as a frag tank, I was wondering if I should keep the same
T5's on it or get MH or LEDs

Oh and I really only need to light bout 2/3 of the tank cause the other side is going to e a shallow invert tank, cause I have a snowflake moray in my DT
