I have read some on the internet about fraging a anemone by cutting it in half. Most I have read had been bubble tips. Aneone try this? Anyone try this on a sebae.

I have heard of one instance of someone cutting a seabe.

Neither half made it, rapid bacterial infection IIRC.

If it is a BTA, just feed it, and let it grow in good lighting and good conditions. Soon you will have two, and with far less hassle.

Mine split every 3 months or so without any feeding.

There was a great demonstration of BTA cutting at the last meeting. The two halves healed within 15 minutes. It was pretty impressive.

I actually recorded it and you should possibly look forward to seeing the video but I'll give you the jist of it. If you cut it right down the middle through the mouth with a sharp sharp blade it will be fine. It was def attatching itself within 15 mins... A rose BTA and a few regular BTA's were fragged...
