Much appreciated, @Chris.Reef

Please don’t take this on offense, but rubbing alcohol doesn’t do anything but make the bugs “happy”. Not sure if this goes with reefing. But it absolutely is 100% with people. If you are going to sanatize, I use bleach. When the smell goes away it’s gone. You have obviously had success. Just wanted to add my 2 cents. I agree, you literally can’t add enough of this to any aquarium. I’m just doing the green strains for now.

Bugs in general have become resistant to rubbing alcohol. Every one freaks out with bleach and reefs, but what it the base of our “water quality”, but what is the base ingredient here? Sodium. If you can’t smell it, it’s gone.

Assuming I am one of the speakers you're talking about and if so I take no offense! I have changed how I sanitize already and aerate sanitized SW overnight after I have used rubbing alcohol on the containers the day before and still use rubbing alcohol on my hands but everything else has been bleached.

Yep!!! Tank loves this stuff more than I do! Which greens are you doing?
