Free - Livestock Free Clownfish – Rehoming to an Established Saltwater Tank Only

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a single healthy clownfish that I’m looking to rehome as I wind down my system. He’s tank-raised, active, eating well, and has been the little personality of my tank for a while.

I originally put him up as “free” on Craigslist, but had a near miss when the first responder told me he was planning to put the clownfish in a freshwater setup ‍. That was a hard no from me, so now I’m posting here where people actually understand what they’re doing.

Important: This clownfish is free to a cycled, established saltwater tank only. Please don’t respond unless you’ve got the proper setup — I want to make sure he goes somewhere he’ll thrive. (I would hope that this bit is a kind of a given but my faith in humanity has been tested!)

Details:

• Tank-raised, not wild caught
• Solo resident so far, but adaptable
• Healthy, eats readily
• Pickup in [Your Area] — please bring a container for safe transport
