I use it with every new tank I install and I love it.

I've also used it to "save" a few tanks. There's a store here on the cape that often sells a tank, salt mix, a light, an aquaclear 500 and a pair of clown fish as a reef package and they will send you home with it all on the same day. I had these customers contact me on more than one occasion and I've been able to bring the tank (including clowns) through using Fritz and amquell.

A tank without it can cycle in 5 days too. It all depends on die off and bacteria in the tank to begin with.

Does anyone know where you can buy this locally? It may be worth a try.
