Galaxia Aggressiveness

I want to place a cup coral in a position close but, above a Galaxia. I know the Galaxia coral is aggressive. Will the Galaxia sting and cause damage to the Cup Coral?

they can have sweepers that can reach way out at night, one bad a** coral when it wants to be!!! give it a wide berth..!!!

+1. I took mine out of the tank. It was about the size of a baseball with sweepers around 10' long. They pack a punch.

+1 on dont put anything close to it that you like.. Lost alot of stuff when I added one almost 15yrs ago in a long past tank. Really aggressive and needs its space.. grow fairly quickly too..

i had mine in a low flow area and its stingers didnt really come out much or if they did they wouldnt extend far/move around too much

I got rid of mine when I couldn't put anything wit in a 10-12" radius

I had some and it wiped out pretty much anything within 10"....except hammer and frogspawn

Why did it not affect the hammer or frogspawn?
