Getting Back In ….

Getting back into the hobby after years out of it! Going to be picking up a Waterbox 20G AIO today with the stand . Looking for some recommendations on equipment to use or that’s recommended !

So far I believe I’m going to be using an AI Prime 16 Reef light and a Vortech MP10 wave maker . If anyone has recommendations on better products please let me know .

Also interested in what to use for pump , ATO , Heater , etc .

Going to be doing a fish less cycle with a Bacteria . Last time I cycled a tank fishless I used Instant Ocean Bio Spira and it worked great but can’t really find it anymore . Looking to see if there are other products people have found and used successfully .

Also any recommendations on which salt to use for making the saltwater .

Any recommendations or advice is greatly appreciated ! Thank youuuuu!

As far as salt, I use whatever is reliably available. IO purple bucket works every time haha. I've used Brightwell Microbacter Start for my last 3 tanks and get a cycle done in about 5 or 6 days. For pumps, I'm partial to the Sicce SDC series, heaters I like simple controllers with replaceable titanium elements. Can't go wrong with a simple ReefBreeders ATO. Again, these are just products that work for me/my preferences. Welcome back!

Thanks for the help @GasGuzzler . Appreciate it . Pretty much ready to go with everything . Waiting on a few last peices than I need to find a place fairly close to southeastern MA to get some quality live rock .
