With lights off, now I catch a glimpse of a giant freaking worm in my 200 gallon tank. It sticks its ugly tail out and it is as thick as a pencil. so I am going to do a partial break down to get it out of there.

Thanks,
The good thing is that I run bare bottom tanks, so breaking down tank and set it up again is piece of cake. I hope I can catch the guy in one piece and take some photo, just like the Oregon reef.

not sure yet, but may be a bobbit worm

I have seen some really crazy ones throughout the years! I can't wait to see yours. I saw one that was a few yards long once.

How could this be bad?

^ Looks like the thing that ate Bobba Fett ^

Take a 20 oz water bottle and add a raw cocktail shrimp... place it after lights are out and sit tight.
It will climb right in... no need to tear down tank.

Thinking outside the soda bottle.

Dongs away on business right now, I'm sure he'll chime in here shortly

Bottle trick works great, I've cut the top half off and reversed it, then glued it.

I made a trap out of pvc and end caps, drilled a bunch of different size holes, stuck a piece of shrimp in it. And let it sit over night. Worked great. The seahorse tank was loaded with worms.

You can go through all that or you can curse him out and piss him off. When he gets mad and comes out of his cave you catch him with a lasso... just saying it
