Giesemann 230 T5 failure

Yesterday, my T5 fixture stopped working. Hoping for the easiest option, I replaced the bulbs today. Unfortunately, it did not work. I did notice that when I have power, and my finger is near the bulb, the area slightly glows.

Since I think I need to take down the fixture, what are the parts that may have gone and where could I get simple replacements, anyone know?

Hey Robb - I have a Geisemann 260 unit. The 230 is similar to the 260 (minus the computer and the moonlight) ... Brendan at the Aquarium Gallery is an authorized Geisemann repair person. My T5 ballast had to replaced recently (after 2 1/2 years of working perfectly) - Brendan was able to do the repair the same day.

I wouldn't try to repair it myself because the ballast is located inside the hood and everything is so tight in there . ... Give him a call and I am sure he can help get it going in no time.
