Glass suction cups, hydraulic lift tables, tank moving gear

My club in Cali had a set of six glass suction cup handles to lend, and me and a few members went in on a hydraulic lift table, then folks that had tanks to set up, take down, or move, could borrow them (They are a lifesaver if you have never used them).

These are the suction cups:

Does the club (or a member) have any of these things to lend? Do we want to?

I have 4 handles in Foxboro. Happy to lend to paid members.
Awesome! Does anyone else own some? I wonder if a member who lives somewhat centrally could be “the keeper of the lift” if we had one

I have four rated for 125lbs. at @Chris.sturgis house, but 1 hour and 40 mins from you

I bought two heavy duty ones. Ill reach out to @Cooper2 and @Chris.Sturgis about borrowing the ones they have. Im headed north today so could pick up today or sunday.

If i have mine and 4 more i think 6 total will be plenty.

On the fence about a hydraulic lift table…

New tank coming soon, looking for any vacuum suction cup handles to borrow? Will of course replace if I mess them up. Tank is a ProStar v90 rimless 60g display, 125ish for tank weight. In Middleboro willing to drive an an hour. Or has anyone had luck with the Amazon's Choice ones? Home Depot/ Lowes ones look the same but are 2x as much. Thank you!

I think that may be heavy but light enough so that it may allow to carry with two by hand just gripping from the bottom. I've only needed suctions for very heavy situations, so if can't find anything you'd be good I wouldn't stress over it

I’m in Lancaster, which is somewhat centrally located based on where I’ve seen people post items. Being a teacher, my schedule is usually pretty open.

So I can hold on to something like this for the club in my classroom closet which is locked and secure.

@Cooper2 do you still have the 4 suction cups i can borrow? Likely be moving a tank in Coventry next Saturday. I think foxboro would be otw there so i can pick up? Be awesome if you can lend a hand as well? It’s gonna be a 360lbs tank. Thx

I have a pair as a paid member you can borrow. I’m from Lynn, but I work in Billerica @ treble cove rd. You can use them, but I will need them back as soon as done as I have a new tank coming also in the coming weeks :) shoot me a PM and I can arrange to bring them to billerica to meet up.

I do have them and not a problem if you need to borrow. I'm moving a 3/4" glass 150 gallon this Saturday but will be done with them for the following weekend. I also have a Gorilla cart that's pretty handy for moving on flat surfaces like a lawn or drive way. It's got 4 pneumatic tires and can handle small bumps and irregularities. I know a strong young guy from your area that works pretty cheap and might be available to assist. PM me with your number and we can figure something out. I'm half a mile of rt 95 in Foxboro and a quick detour on your way to the tank.

@Cpage101 @Cooper2 i’ve never done this before, would u recommend 4 or 6 for a 48” x 27” x 26” 360 gallon tank?
The gorilla cart sounds great, i can borrow that as well.

Pretty sure he's in Pawtucket. Let me ask him if interested and for the ok to give you his number. He is a friend of my son and good pair of hands.
