Will using a glass top affect my lights at all ?

I dont like em in the summer i think they restrict evaporation and keep heat in. If you let salt build up on them i think it can mask out some of your par. Now opposite that i think in the winter if you are constantly cleaning the glass it wouldnt be that bad of a thing

If/when you get splashes, they will dry and the salt will crystallize on the glass. The tank may run warmer than without a glass top.
