Good Or Bad?

Can anybody ID this thing i foung crawling in my rock ? its the size of a pencil eraser about 1/4 inch round and flat looking
i hope the picture uploads ok

Looks like an Asternia star (sp?)
 
I agree with Kevin. Most people consider them a good/benign thing (they're a sign your tank is healthy and diverse), but others don't like them because they eat coralline algae, so if you're trying to turn your glass purple as fast as possible they're not helping.
 
Yeah, not usually a problem, most feel they are a sign of healthy params but some feel that they may bug some corals. I vote good.

Good and bad. Some munch on monti caps, esp green ones. I am trying to reduce the population in my main tank. They can go from nothing to nuisance proportions.

Get a harlequin shrimp cute lil guys and they eat them like no tomorrow. We had one in the store that I'd feed by hand when ever I found one, he'd sit right up like a pooch an beg for it, pretty fun.
