Guaging interest in a Yankee Frag/Wine holiday party

Of course you can man! but wine is so good on the holidays and everybody will be bringing some so there will have to be one there that you will find tasty.

I voted yes, but for me it depends a lot on when it would be, day and time, etc. Keep in mind the December BRS meeting is Sunday Dec. 17th.

I am waiting to hear back from the wife on the 9th. I will create another thread when I hear back with another poll to get an exact number of persons.

looking like the 9th will prob be the date (as long as i return the clubhouse rental agreement before someone else does). we'll know for sure in a few days

wow! 36 people.... we are waiting for the contract in the mail but it looks like the 9th of Dec. 5-10pm.

I will create that other thread with the official date & time post to get an exact # when we actually get the paperwork in to get the hall

Hopefully we will get some more people when the date is set in stone

Just saw this!!! Great idea!!! I like the yankee swap idea re: frags. We should all bring in a nice print out of the mother colony. I'll check with Terry (my cruise director) regarding the date and time and get back with a definite. (I voted yes). We used to host yankee swap parties for Christmas every year!!!

Maybe I could set up a small tank with a heater for keeping the frags. I think a pot luck swap would be fun.For people that don't know what that is I will have everybody pick a number from a hat #1 being the best. The person with #1 gets to pick first then #2 etc.. then if #2 like the item #1 selected he can take it and so on. At the end #1 gets to take any frag he/she wants

Or, I could just # all the frags and the # you pick represents the frag.
