Hair Algae or Bryopsis ?

Hey fellow BRS members. I know I have been posting a few times for help and it is greatly appreciated. Been in the hobby now about 2.5 years and have seen this all of a sudden on some rock work. My gut is telling me bryopsis, but wanted to see if anyone thought otherwise. Got a sea hare last weekend and I did just see it eat some, but maybe spit it out. I have 2 tuxedo urchins and a pin cushion but they haven’t touched it.

Has anyone had success combating it? Anything actually eat it if the hare doesn’t?

Does it kill of coral if it touches or more just “smothering” ?

Looks like bryopsis to me, lots of manual removal while siphoning it out. Hydrogen peroxide tends to work once you get the brunt of it off the rocks.

Bryopsis. They are terrible and pop up everywhere. Lowering nutrients don’t work against them.
