Hammer help

Bought hammer from local reefer. The first couple days it was doing great. Now it only is half open. Any suggestions. Right now it is half way down in my tank and has medium water flow. Only swaying a little. It is left it my light fixture 120 watt LED. Should I move it more directly under the lights?

Also double check water temperature, parameters, or a nipping fish.

it can take weeks to months for it to fully open. if there is no brown jelly they are fine. ive had one that didnt open for almost a month then one day it was huge and happy. just give it time it will open

that was under leds in my tank too but the lights may

it is either too much flow or u have low alk/calc....................I am 95 % sure lol

My hammer will pull itself in tight at times and even though in moderate current, won't have any movement at all. The next day it will be all spread out with all it's little "heads" flowing all about in the current appearing well over twice the size of the day before. I have had times where is was all pulled in for a couple of days.
