Hello everyone my name is Wayne and I live in Milford NH.I have yet to set up a tank, but am planning on setting up a 55 gal reef tank soon.I was told about this place from my brother Steve who is a member here.He has told me that this is a great place to learn and get things from.I am looking forward to spending alot of time here and enjoying this new hobby. As for other hobbies i collect diecast cars in which i have about 10,000 in my collection.Thanx to everyone in advance for the welcome and thanx to the admin for allowing me to be here.

So what's the plan??

My plan is to get the tank this week.Get it all set up.Let it cycle for the proper amount of time with just live rock and gravel in it.Then slowly start adding fish, corals and whatever else i think will make me a good tank.Like i said i do have a brother here on the site that is going to help me get started so it shouldn't be too tough to handle.

to the hobby and to BRS! Good luck with your new tank. Like the diecast collection - keep the pics coming. :)

Been a change in plans.I went and checked out snicks 180 today and fell in love.No i will not go with the 180 but i think i want to go bigger than the 55.

I got to tell you people one thing. There is alot of things to know about this hobby.I think i have learned one valuble thing is that it is probably worth the penny to go new if you can afford it to get set up.I have learned alot from Snick and others here and i haven't even gotten started.I'm looking ar mid Aug before even getting water into a tank, but i think taking my time and doing it right the first time will pay off in the long run.Any bit of advice is always welcomed to me.

welcome! i have a bunch of nice live rock for sale or swap, get back to me when you get a tank and i will hook you up,live in strafford n.h.

Thanx for all the help people, but because of a car accident i was in back in Jan. more bills have piled in,so it gave me no choice than to go used for now and go with a 75g reef tank. With that said myself and my brother snick1734 will finally be setting up a tank.Looking forward to posting picks.

Welcome. Sorry to hear about the accident. Looks like your tank is well on the way. Now you get to play God.
