Help ID macro algae

This macro algae appeared in my sump as a hitchhiker. It’s probably taken it a year or more to grow to a full round softball size. Doesn’t anchor to anything and kind of settles at the bottom. Doesn’t tumble around as well. Coloration varies from a nice green color same as chaeto with bits of orange/yellow tips. Sometimes under white lights it has a bluish tinge.
I think it’s a kind of codium but am not sure.
The structure is tubular about 1/8 inch thick at most.
I’ve seen codium at the beaches and in the saltwater display tank at the YMCA in Newton but those are much thicker about 1/2 inch thick.

White light pic would probably be easier to identify.
