Help Identify Coral

Hello,


I am still pretty new to the hobby and could use some help IDing some coral I recently got.

1. It is tan with a ton of polyps all over it. It seems like it is encrusting in onto the rock, any help so I can do some research would be great.

2. I believe it is a torch coral but the tentacles don't seem as long and thin as torch coral pictures I have been looking at. Any help would be great.

I'm not the coral God. I get my coral ID wrong all the time.
I think #1 might be a cyphastrea. Is that what you were thinking?

I can't come up with a name but some type of an encrusted monti, maybe?

I think the plyps are too loose to be an encrusting monti. The spacing between polyps on montipora is tighter.

yeah, #1 is def either cyphaestrea or stylo...something...something. I forget the full name but I'm sure a quick Google will get that for you

1 is a cyphastrea.
2 is an euphyllia. I'd guess torch (glabrescens) over hammer(ancora) but it's hard to tell from just 1 head.

Number two I would say leans more towards torch. The tips are more rounded rather than a hammer being well...more hammer shaped lol. Light pink perhaps Aussie.

#1 might be a coral commonly found on live rock from the Caribbean. I had one very similar for many, many year. Tend to grow very slow. Genus or species not sure about.
