Is this possible I'm still new to the corals. But I think I saw my snail eating my yellow polyps. I'm trying to controll my nitrates so I've cut down on my feeding. The tank has new live rock so I don't understand. What should I do?THanks

They will crawl through them and eat around them, but most snails will not eat corals. What kind of snail is it? There are types out there that will eat corals.

snail

it's good size turbo. Looks to be some cyano near the polyps so maybe that what he was going after...He looked real guilty though

Most likely. From time to time I find snails in between zoo polyps and other corals and they have never harmed a thing. (No not Sundials:D )

snail

that's exactly what he was doing. LOL. I'm just a little paranoid I don't have many corals and to lose one because of a snail would really suck. Thanks for everyones replies.
