Help with toadstool

I have toadstool ive had a while pretty large8-10" cap starting to not look good last few days, base of it looks like dying the top looks pretty good from about halfway up you can kinda see tear starting. I saw it was kinda moving rocks so attached to 2 seperate rocks shoudl i cut the base at the bad point and do the tooth pick trick to remount? heres pic

If you really think it's on it's way out I would try to frag it. Toadstools do well with the toothpick method as you stated. Do the polyps extend at all anymore?

yea they were out yesterday or 2 days ago ill try it out cant hurt

if your mag is low it might be pissed...Any stress will cause it to tear & try to relocate...Moderate flow on the open wound is key. (to prevent bacteria from attacking the open wound) If the wrong bacteria gets in there & is allowed to flourish...the toad is toast..
