High Calcium Level

Can a high calcium level have a bad affect on your corals or fish? I dont know how my calcium got up too 700ppm, I tested it 3 times

That may be test error, and or your SG could be elevated.

700 is really high, and may not even be possible (because depending on the specifics, it might/would have precipitated out and dropped on it's own).

Do you do anything to supplement the Ca normally?
What kind of salt do you use?
What kind of Ca test kit are you using?
How are you testing SG, and what is it at?


If it really is way elevated, you can usually just let it come down on it's own. If your really worried, you can do some water changes. As long as your livestock looks OK, things are probably fine :)
