HOLY CRAP!!! My skimmer went a bit nutz!

Where'd you get the gate valve?
What size?
THink my 1" gate valve would work on my G4?
The plan calls for a 1.5" gate valve. I could use a reduced bushing to make the 1" gate fit.

...and the answer here is a resounding, NO.
I just found out using a 1" gate valve on the G4 reduces the outflow so much, the skimmer just repeatedly and irreversably overflows.
Gotta go with a bigger gate valve.
