hot glue

so would the glue that you use for a hot glue gun kill my tank. im trying to a fish trap and i dont have super glue. will it work or will it kill everything

I've used it as a temporary seal when my sump cracked. There was no ill effects to the tank

I looked it up for about 3 mins and decided I wouldn't put it in my tank. There's a ton of different kinds of hot glue sticks and the chemicals used is different for all of them.
I'd say run out and get super glue. Actually get 2

That is a bummer... I thought I saw you at the November meeting too...
You must have missed the announcement I made in regards to the "Free Super Glue" up at the registration table.

Something about the glue from a hot glue gun says "Proceed with Caution". Do a Google search on the manufacturer in regards to the MSDS sheets... That should give you some FACTUAL information to go on.
