How long until bulbs need to be changed

How often do any of you change your bulbs? I am going to go from 250de Ushio 10k's to the Phoenix 14k….Just a matter of when. The Ushio’s are just past six months old.

i do mine every 8 to 9 months...

I havn't changed mine yet but I'm going to do it between 10-12 months

I read once a year but I have also been told evey six months

10K's will last longer than any blue bulb.

everything I've read says mh are good for approx 12 months.

Just changed out my six month old Ushio 10k's with a couple 250W
Phoenix 14k's......Must say I am really happy. Do I have to change any timer settings as far as light schedule is concerned where I changed bulbs or will I be ok where the 14k is not so intense?

12 to 16 month will be normal. I changed bulbs more to do with the color of the bulbs instead of age.
