How often do you have to clean your glass?

My glass has been growing film algae lately. Lots of green film. If I skip cleaning it for 2 days, then I can't see in very well. I keep looking for automatic glass cleaners, but the reviews are not good. Getting tired of it. Anybody with permanently clean glass?

I can go a maximum of four days before I have to clean it

Clean it every 3-4 days, it would take a week though before I could not see in very well.

Reef tank 2 times a week, Fowler tank once a week. I think it's because of the stronger lights.

The best glass cleaner system is a sized refugium full of algae and a small army of turbo snails, plus all the other creatures that help to eat detritus and reduce nutrient concentrations in your tank.

Or.... as mentioned, elbow glass cleaning .

By the way, I have all what I mentioned and nevertheless my tank has such a bio load that I need to elbow clean the glass every 3-4 days top. The good part, when I am lazy an do not clean the glass for more than a week and nothing can be seen inside, is that, when i clean it, I discover that behind that green glass I have a colorful coral tank ..... LOL..

I clean 7-10 days or unless having company over. lol
