How to create a proper wave?

Hi everybody, I have two nero power heads set to pulse alternating one on one off, one on one off Etc. I remember Jake Adams saying to create a proper wave the timing should be at half second intervals. Do others find this to be true? I got a little bit of a way of going giving the above settings. But I would like it if my corals were rocking back and forth a little bit more. Any suggestions. Also side note what I got going on right now is a quick Rock back and forth. Would like to try to slow it down but achieve the same motion if that makes sense

To create a standing wave you will need to match the resonance of the tank. That's gonna be different for each tank. Length, crap in the way "aqua scape" are all gonna effect.

Dong @dz6t is probably best suited to help with this.

Makes perfect sense. I thought about these variables also.
