how to feed formula 1 frozen?????

ok so i bought some formula 1 frozen food. and when i tried to feed it it didn't like separate in to any thing.... it just tuned to a mushy slice.... so i mushed it up and it still didnt like do any thing......

so how do i feed this

Is it the one with the gel binde listed in the ingredients? If so, not much you can do other than defrost in some water outside of tank and stir it as much as possible to get it into smaller pieces. The fish will nip at it and eat as much as they can regardless. Just for me personally too much of it ends up on the sandbed and adds unnecessary phosphates to the tank.

agreed, the gel binder is lousy. I've thawed it and sliced it up into very small chunks too...but I'd never buy it in that form again.

but what rely got me was that it cost 7.99 for the pack... when i could have bought a mysis and a brine (the brine just to switch it up) for like 6$

wont ever buy it again. i was hoping it was going to encourage my bi coloredd angel to eat more.

i bought some too,tried one cube and the rest went in the trash

Works good to add into fish goo but that's about it, without the blender it just wont break up and ends up on the bottom.::
