Not exactly positive but I'm pretty sure you can do the toothpick through the base of the frag and use a rubber band around a piece of rock rubble connected to each side of the toothpick.

I was planning on drilling a hole in lr rubble and jamming it in there..not to keen on the toothpick deal..mostly lost on the cutting part! I know these corals are sensitive to air basicaly I just dont want to kill it in the process!

I believe that you can just superglue the base to a piece of rock... I could be wrong though. That is beautiful!

thanks.. this one is super glued now but it was a pain in the butt cause this coral is very sensitive to air and all work has to be done under water..jays aquatic in salem nh is where I got this one..if anybody is interested..I guess if no one chimes in about cutting this guy Im just gonna go for it..

super glue

I frag'd mine into 3 pieces, just super glue them to some rumble, it will grow over an attach in no time....

I believe that the most important thing is the you remove the flesh from the base where you are going to super glue it to the rock - then it should work fine.
