Any opinions?
It seems that my skimmer loves to overflow -- it's a relatively new ReefDynamics 150. I know for a fact that the water level has not changed; we built our sump, so that the water level in the skimmer section is always stable.
Yet, every once in a while the damn thing over flows creating havoc everywhere. Last night it started over-flowing, which resulted in a water level drop in the return section, which resulted in air bubbles being shot out into our DT, which resulted in our brand new clam trying to commit suicide ... literally! he jumped off of the rocks! (yes, he's fine now ... just a little traumatized ...)
Air bubbles is one thing, but I worry, that if something like this happens once we have our ATO installed, then we'll be coming home to a flooded living room!
So! any ideas?
