As my controller just shut down my lights, due to tank temp, thought I would throw a warm weather reminder out. Watch those tank temp& get you cooling devices/methods setup, test or what not

My fans have been cranking all day and my reefkeeper says 81 was my high for the day. I guess the a/c's go in this weekend. How's everyone elses temps?

My fans kicked on at 82° and the temp has been going down since. I wonder how much water I’m evaporating

FWIW, I'm using a Vornado fan in my sump which moves some serious air.

starts at 77 ends around 80 today, on hotter days it will go to around 82

I get up to 81 without the fan but with air movement in the apt, it stays in the 79's but i have LED lights so that definitely helps on the heat (although my top is totally enclosed)

was 81 when i checked yesterday during the bad heat so I went to turn on the central AC we had installed when we converted our house to natural gas in december. They never tested the AC due to weather when it was installed so needless to say the electrician didn't do his job very well and forgot to hook it up completely. Luckily the contractor who installed it called us DURING THE BRUINS GAME when he was listening to his messages, heard the one from me and came out at 7 this morning and fixed it. Thank god because I was getting worried.

Mine went up to 86 last night before I put in the fan and open some windows. Then it came down to 83.
Right now, even without the light on, its 82

78 degrees is what i keep mine at... fortunately i have mine in the somewhat finished basement, so outdoor temps and the highs and lows they hit dont effect my system much at all, if any

I was prepared for incredible heat, but its not that hot here in worcester now... My shrimp tank is steady at 73.9

Reef is in an A/C room.
