View attachment 20081Bubble like blister on Frogspawn? Looked great a few hours ago. This may be the norm? Could this be from a anemone sting? Frogspawn in tank for 1 week & anemone in tank for 2 days.

I was reading in an older FAMA that the bubble sometimes preceeds a new colony. The author said if left alone it would eventually form a new structure and break away. I have never seen it in person. Check the June 2006 FAMA page 96.

dont worry about it. its all good. other similiar corals like torches will it do it also. if they bubble up like that they will usually grow a new head.

I have a similar bubble on my Hammer colony. Not to worry.

I have been wondering the same thing, both our frogspawn and hammer, have been displaying this sort of thing lately. They have expanded considerably since we got them, but we only started seeing the "bubbles" in the past month or so, I will have to do a head count and write it down for future comparison.
