I need peace of mind - please help

Does anyone out there (in the andover area or within 15 minutes away) have an extra battery operated pump laying around that I can buy? I called a bunch of LFS today and they all said they do not have any. I guess I want some peace of mind if in case the power goes out. Can anyone help? Thanks. I know, I should have planned ahead.

Man I just did the same thing and found 1. Try walmart they may have the cheapo ones.

is it the kind that you plug in, and then when the power goes out, the pump turns on? or do you have to manually turn it on?

i think when you put the batteries in it just turns on. I dunno though I'm at work and haven't had a chance to look at it yet. Theres no plug on it.

Check Petsmart. I picked one up at the braintree store today and they had like 10 of them in stock...can't beat $12.99 for one either! It's the one that plugs in and when power foes out it switches to batteries. You need to buy 2 "D" cells for it too.

PetSmart is where I got my pumps. There is one on Rt. 114 in Danvers try calling them.
