Ice cap sump partition

I have an ice cap 36xl sump with the skimmer /refugium partition (wall) and recently have been wanting to utilize a algae scrubber. So am wanting to remove this wall but its acrylic , does anyone have experience with how I can go about doing this ?

I’ve used an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel, jigsaw, oscillating multi tool, hacksaw, and a circular saw with the blade backwards. My favorite is the angle grinder with a cutoff wheel it’s the fastest and cleanest cut but you may not be able to get all sides with it.
