LOL, I didn't really get that close. The head thinned down to a needle point, like a proboscis, rooting around as it explored the table top, just prior to its death.

It was wrapped on a GSP rock I got from mogulski71. He said his tank was up for about 7 years. It really looked like black sponge then it started moving and really creeped me out, which doesn't happen often .

In worm hell it is.
