After a few SPS deaths I spotted these things on 2 of my coral, a hypno and a acro. THis is bad isn't it?

Looks like a flatworm to me...

they don't move they look like egg sacs. The corals that they grow on don't show a stress and are growing well.

Have you tired removing the corals you see them on and letting the coral dry out a bit. Flatworms will look wet on a dry coral. It might help you see if there is more of them or help you figure what they are.

looks more like a disease one of my corals had ( similar to brown jelly ), jim reccomended a iodine dip.

is the lump a hard lump?
it looks like some form of burrowing creature.
i had one once before on an acro,i never did get a positive ID but it sent out a string type sweeper that stung the coral in the imediate vicinity of the hole.
kind of like a version of those burrowing filter feeders with the tiny fans you get in acro's

I just got over a rampant infection/ RTN where I lost two frag and two colonies. Again these corals that have these sacs are healthy and have no recesstion even under the wierd growths. All these colonies were dipped throughly.

I also remember a meeting where someone had pictures of an sps letting out a bunch of sweeper like tentacles to attack another sps that looked just like that, is there another coral close to that one?

Some weird stuff is goin on here. I just noticed a piece of lobed leather is all chewed up and dieing quickly. It was all good two days ago when I las looked. That kinda rules out and kind of SPS eating buggies. I have no idea at all why Im losing corals. All params are normal. The only change is I threw in a new bag of ferric oxide (spelling) after I lost the first two frags. Im just stabbing in the dark here. I really think after seeing all the deaths and the way it moved from coral to coral it looks like a pest of some sort. And I think they are coming out of these sacs above. The sacs are no mobile but they dissappear and new ones pop up other places on this one Acro.
