haha I had one, and i fed it and everything. He was good for about a month or two.. then he split.. so i killed his evil twin... and then he split again and there were 5 of him! so i killed them all! lol He could have lived a long happy life.. but nooo he had to keep splitting. it was his own fault lol I killed mine by injecting them with kalk (mix the powder with very little water and make it thick.) Or just inject them with boiling water. Mine didnt have that white ring, mine were ugly brown. good luck

That sounds evil! :D

Kill or be killed!! These thinks will kill you in your sleep if you can't sleep with them taking over your tank. Get to killing and start sleeping! LOL! Ya! there a pain in the a*#! I never buy anything from a tank that has any of them in it. And I never had on in 8 years. Good luck killing this rat!

Well they got removed. They were only on a piece of LR I picked up so no harm done to the tank. They were nice in colors just I knew better.
Now the rock is sitting out drying up waiting to be cycled again.

all you really need to do is run the rock under REALLY HOT tap water. It will literally cook the mojano, and it will solidify and just peel off the rock. Discard the mojano, you're done.

You then have a cleaned off (but still relatively cured) rock. Replace it in your tank after an inspection.

Did'nt want to take any chances so I boiled the rock to death...I'll cycle it later on when the new sump is done.
