If i made a switch from Ushio 14k to Phoenix 14k?

I have a 90 gallon all sps. Elos Planet II fixture. 2x 150w mh and 4 39w t-5's. If i made a switch from Ushio 14k to Phoenix 14k could i bump up the lighting from 6 to 8 hrs since it ain't as bright? Thinking about making the switch not sure.

If it were my system, and with NEW bulbs, I wouldn't extend it at all for a week or 2, then I would add 30 minutes per week until you hit 8 hours, or a point where you are happy with your growth. Kilowatt for kilowatt, you are going to get less PAR on your corals with the phoenix, but some people really like the blue

You're right. I do like the blue!

Although honestly it's hard to imagine MORE light. Those things are pretty darn bright. Although I'm running 250's. Maybe it's my lumenarc's that are responsible. I dunno. But anyhow, go blue!

lol, I changed from phoenix to ushio

I just feel like Ushio has to much yellow in it. For a 14k it sure doesn't have a blue tint to it.
